Privacy Policy

Trendish works without an account. By default the only identifier we use is an anonymous device id: a random value generated in your browser and stored locally so the app can remember your settings and usage on this device. It is not linked to your real identity.

You can optionally sign in with Google to sync your generated images across devices and to buy a Pro pass. If you do, we store an account row with your email, display name and profile photo (from Google), and a server-side mirror of your library. Signing out leaves that data in place; deleting it is one tap away (see “Delete your data” below). If you upgrade to Pro, we also store a record of your active pass and a customer reference from our payment provider so we can recognise your payment. Purchases are sold and processed by Dodo Payments acting as our Merchant of Record (with Stripe as a fallback processor). Payment card details are handled entirely by the payment provider and are never seen by our servers. See our Refund Policy.

If you choose to contact us through the in-app support button, you provide an email address so we can reply. That email is used only to respond to your message.

When you generate an image, the selfie you upload is sent to our image-generation provider (fal.ai) so it can produce your result. We never store your uploaded photo on Trendish's own servers.

To reach the model, the photo has to be placed on the provider's file storage for the duration of the job. We upload it set to be automatically and permanently deleted 15 minutes after upload. A typical generation finishes in under a minute.

We want to be precise about one thing rather than overstate it: during those 15 minutes the photo sits on a long, randomly-generated link. We never publish that link and it is not guessable, but it is not password-protected either — anyone who somehow obtained it could open the image until it expires. We tried to lock the file down to our account only; the provider's own model could then no longer read it, so the generation failed. The short expiry is therefore the real protection, and it is why it is measured in minutes.

Your finished image is then hosted by the provider on an unguessable link for a limited period, so your browser (and your other devices, if a generation is interrupted and later recovered) can download it. That link is not private — anyone who has it could open the image — so we do not publish it anywhere. Once your device has the image, the copy you keep is the one in your on-device library.

Our provider also keeps a technical record of each request (not the photo itself, but the job data) for a limited period as part of running the service. We do not use your photos to train models, and we do not sell them.

The finished image is saved into your on-device library (in your browser's local storage). It stays on your device unless you choose to share it, delete it, or turn on library sync.

Your generated images are saved in your browser on this device. If you are signed in you can additionally turn on Sync across devices from the Library page. It is off by default: until you turn it on, no image from your library is uploaded to our servers.

When you turn it on, your existing library and every new creation are copied to your account so they appear on your other devices. Turning it back off stops further uploads; images already copied remain on your account until you delete them, either from the Library page or with the deletion tool below.

If you tap Share on a result, that single image is uploaded to our servers so we can give you a public link to it. Shared images are stored so the link keeps working, and they are associated with your anonymous device id. You can remove your shared images at any time using the deletion tool below. Shared images are also automatically rotated out over time.

The following are kept in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB, on your device only:

• Your library of generated images.
• Your anonymous device id.
• Free-tier usage counters and any active pass (so the app knows what you are entitled to).
• Your library-sync preference, if you are signed in.

We collect basic, anonymous usage analytics (for example which trends are opened and whether a generation succeeded) to understand how the app is used and to improve it. These events are tied to your anonymous device id and do not contain your photos or personal details.

Trendish shows no ads and runs no advertising code. There are no ad networks, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, and no data sold or shared with advertisers.

We set no third-party cookies at all. The only browser storage we use is our own, on your device, listed above — plus, if you sign in, a session cookie that keeps you signed in.

You are in control. Use the tool below to permanently clear your on-device library and settings, and to remove any shared images, generation logs, and analytics tied to this device from our servers.

If you are signed in, the same button will also delete your Trendishaccount, your server-synced library (including the saved image files on our servers) and your local pass / subscription history, and sign you out on this device. Our payment provider's own record of past payments is governed by its policies; if you also want those records removed, contact us through the support button and we will action it.

If you cannot run the tool for any reason, or want to confirm removal of server-side data, contact us through the support button and we will action your request.

Trendish is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
